WHERE OUR WORK MEETS YOURS
Rooted in connection
guided by purpose
The communities we serve share one thing: a profound need for the restorative power of nature. Mindful of Nature directs its work toward the people who need it most, and toward the places where connection to nature can make the biggest difference. If your work, whether as a guide, facilitator, teacher, or organization, is about supporting the wellbeing and resilience of those you serve, scroll down to meet the communities where our work takes root.
What's the story?
Some people arrive full of devotion and ready for restoration.
Service professionals, first responders, caregivers, and those who dedicate their lives to others give enormously of themselves, often at great personal cost. The demands of that kind of service can quietly erode presence, connection, and a sense of self. Nature offers something that few other interventions can: stillness that is not forced, grounding that asks nothing in return, and a way of coming back to yourself that feels earned rather than prescribed.
Some arrive driven by a deep commitment to the earth itself.
Environmental advocates, educators, conservationists, and those dedicated to ecological care and social responsibility often carry the weight of an urgent mission. That urgency is necessary and it is also exhausting. Reconnecting with the natural world they are working so hard to protect can renew purpose, restore perspective, and nourish the long-term resilience that meaningful change requires.
Some are just beginning to find their way.
Youth leaders and young adults navigating identity, purpose, and the pressures of early adulthood find meaningful grounding through nature-based practice. These are not programs that talk at young people about the environment, but experiences that invite presence, build inner resilience, and foster a deep sense of belonging in the natural world. (For ages 18+)
And some have simply never had access.
Communities facing systemic barriers, whether rooted in geography, economics, identity, or circumstance, deserve the same restorative power of nature that others take for granted. Mindful of Nature is committed to meeting people where those barriers are greatest, and to working alongside organizations whose missions are already rooted in serving those communities with dignity and care.
HOW WE MEASURE IMPACT
Measuring what
truly matters
To evaluate the effectiveness of our programs, we developed a structured data collection process measuring changes in participants’ wellbeing across six domains. Each participant completes pre- and post-program surveys, and we gather feedback from partner organizations and teachers. Results inform case studies, stories, and reports shared with communities, teachers, and funders.
